A New Beginning

Updated: Oct 30

A new beginning requires a separation from the old.

How far you can go depends on how far you can see.

Looking at Gen, 13: 14 – 17

14 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your [a]descendants forever. 16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. 17 Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”

God spoke to Abram only after Lot separated from him.

Abram made the difficult decision to leave Lot behind.

Not everyone can come with you into your new season.

One of the key reasons why people fail is because they don’t separate from the old; therefore it is important to master the art of separating from what used to be.

Let go of your past.

Draw confidence from your past successes, learn lessons from your past failures and move on!

Where you are right now is a minute fraction of where God is taking you.

It’s time to move beyond the emotional pain of the past.

Get excited about the emotional gains of the future!
